I'm Beray 👋🏻 UX Designer, Creative Thinker & Curious Human.
Hi, I’m Beray. I'm a UX designer who's all about creating experiences that are simple, intuitive and actually useful.
I come from a background in engineering and project management, which means I love solving problems, asking "why" and turning big ideas into designs that work. I'm naturally curious, thrive in collaborative environments, and enjoy learning at every step.
How I got into UX?
I studied engineering, then moved into project management where I constantly collaborated with architects, contractors, and engineers; coordinated timelines, solved problems, and made sure everything came together. The more I worked, the more I realized I wanted to do something more creative, something that still involved problem-solving, but in a way that focused on people and experiences. That’s what led me to discover UX design.
I started learning on my own, then completed several UX design certifications, joined hackathons, and built real-world projects that pushed me to think deeper about user needs. Now, I’m focused on creating thoughtful, user-centered experiences and I’m excited to keep growing.
What I value in design?
For me, good design is simple, usable, and visually clear .
It should just make sense.
I’m always thinking about the “why” behind every decision. I like to keep things structured but flexible. I believe the best ideas come from collaboration, and I’m not afraid to explore or rethink something if it leads to a better solution. At the end of the day, I want to design experiences that not only look great but also solve real problems and make people’s lives easier.
Who am I beyond design?

When I’m not designing, you can usually find me at the ice rink. I’ve been learning figure skating, it’s challenging but also the most fun way I’ve found to clear my head and stay focused.

Back in 2020, I started a Turkish Youtube Channel during pandemic, where I shared everyday moments, vlogs and my workout routines. I took a break, but I’m getting back into it and looking forward to creating again.

I enjoy photography. I’m not a professional, I mostly use my iPhone but I love capturing little details and moments that catch my eye.

And I absolutely love animals, all kinds. In a crowded room, you’ll probably find me hanging out with the animals. I like visiting shelters to help out and give them some love… but somehow, every time I go, I end up adopting one. Oops.
